CVPP Youth Employment program (YEP) Consultant

Community Assistance Programs (CAPs) is a Chicago-based not-for-profit employment agency that provides employment training and job placement services. Their mission is to enhance the quality of life of economically disadvantaged populations through employment counseling and case management, job readiness training, employer-driven training, subsidized on-the-job training, business services, and unsubsidized job placement with retention case management.

The Youth Employment Program (YEP) component of CVPP will prepare 1,800 youth between 16-24 to be employed by businesses and community organizations in 24 Chicago and South Suburban neighborhoods. CAPs will prepare trainers to deliver 40 hours of job readiness training to youth.
